Celebrating 40 on the Côte d’Azur

They say that the French Riviera has an average of 300 days of sunshine in a year.

Upon learning this, I felt like I had been misplaced my whole life, and that the Côte d’Azur was in fact the pin on the world map I was meant to reside in.

After all, this is the land that is native to what I consider to be life’s delights.

The beach.

Cheese.

Croissants.

Perfume.

Bronzed skin.

The turquoise blue of the Mediterranean.

A bucket list destination I’ve stored in my heart for years, immersing myself in this chic coastal paradise of southern France was aptly chosen for my 40th Birthday.

And what a dream come true it was.

Our 7 days in Nice left beautiful imprints, framed as real-life postcards.

From handpicking French cheese and wine…

To strolling in the charming lemon village of Menton…

To hiking up the Nietzsche Trail in Èze…

To breathing in the aromatic lavender of Provence…

To clinking to 40 years in the glamourous coast of Monaco…

I can’t wait to bring you along to each of these spots, soaked in sun, sea, and scenic poetry.

Stay tuned for more travel snapshots of this series that I like to call “September in the South of France”, and what I’ll always cherish as a trip of a lifetime.

À bientôt, mes amis.
