The Fall season has been pretty extraordinary this year. So much so that I want to savour it in this blog post, especially since it’s been snowing and already below zero cold since Monday. Switching my leather jacket to a winter parka was a quick adjustment I wasn’t ready to make so suddenly. I was still in my autumnal dreamland.
This Fall especially will always be looked back as being an incredibly special, warm, joyful time in my life. Despite some preoccupying things happening behind the scenes, the multicolour magic of Fall has been able to make me stop, breathe, and appreciate the beauty that comes with transformation.
Inhaling fireplace aromas while walking through rustling leaves, or curled up under a blanket at home with a treat baking in the oven, or wrapping myself in an oversized shawl with the October sun glistening on my face. Moments like these really make me feel appreciative. This fast-changing season is basically a comforting hug that I want to hold on to a little tighter, and wish it stayed longer.
If you haven’t noticed by now, I like doing seasonal recaps on the blog. It’s a way for me to reflect on the highlights (and challenges) of the season, and it’s my Virgo way of wrapping up one chapter and beginning the next. So here’s my chapter summary in photos of a very colourful and beautiful fall reflected in nature, at home and in cozy outfits.
Nature
Magic captured from daily walks, weekend strolls and a nostalgic enchanted forest.
Home
Nesting with warm blankets, dried florals, velvets and wool, cozy couch nights with friends, wine with Monday dinners, warm tea and candlelit glows.

Fashion
Earthy tone shawls, deep purple velvets, green corduroys accentuated with a whole lot of ambers.
XO 🍂💛
